Instructions
- Ensure the metal surface is clean, dry, and free from grease, oil, rust, or protective coatings before application. If necessary, degrease thoroughly and allow to dry.
- Lightly abrade very smooth surfaces to improve reaction uniformity.
- Shake the container well before use.
- Apply the antiquing fluid using a brush, sponge, cloth, or by immersion depending on the size of the object.
- Recommended dosage is approximately 55–60 ml per square meter. Coverage is up to 18 m² per liter depending on the metal and desired intensity.
- Allow the product to react for several minutes. The darkening effect will appear progressively as the chemical reaction develops.
- For a deeper or darker finish, apply additional layers after the first application has stabilized.
- Once the desired color is achieved, rinse lightly with clean water if required and allow the surface to dry completely.
- After drying, apply a protective oil, wax, or clear sealant to stabilize and preserve the finish.
- Store the product in a cool, dry place and reseal the container tightly after use.
