Instructions
- For cold-rolled sheet metal thinner than 2.5 mm, thoroughly degrease the surface using a suitable metal degreaser, such as our dedicated metal degreaser, to remove oils and manufacturing residues.
- For hot-rolled sheet metal thicker than 2.5 mm, sandblast the surface to remove mill scale and ensure proper oxidation.
- If sandblasting equipment is not available, apply our descaling agent to remove the mill scale effectively before proceeding.
- Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust before applying the rust accelerator.
- Apply the rust accelerator evenly using a roller available in our shop.
- Respect an approximate dosage of 50 ml per square meter, corresponding to a coverage rate of 20 m² per liter.
- After approximately 30 minutes, observe the metal surface turning blue as the reaction begins.
- After about one hour, rust will begin forming visibly.
- Allow the oxidation process to continue naturally for up to two days to achieve the desired depth of rust effect.
- After two days, apply a protective varnish, such as our varnish for Corten steel, to stabilize the finish.
- The varnish will prevent rust runoff onto flooring during rain and protect clothing from staining if someone leans against the treated surface.

Habe den Aktivator gebraucht um an meiner Bar eine Metallplatte zu verrosten.
Vor dem Anwenden des Aktivators muss man allerding eine Grundierung vom Hersteller auf die Oberflache auftragen um den gewunschten Effekt zu erzielen.
Zur Anwendung:
-Oberflache saubern, gegebenfalls vorher einen Reislack auftragen
-Grundieren
-Nach getrockneter Oberflache den Aktivator auftragen. Aktivator je nach dem welche Verrostung man wunscht �fters Auftrage.
Der Effektlack lasst sich gut auftragen und kann mit verschiedenen Pinselarten bzw. rollen unterschiedliche Effekte erzielen.
