- Ensure the corten steel surface is dry and free from loose dirt or debris before application.
- Wear appropriate protective equipment including gloves, eye protection, and protective clothing.
- Shake or stir the product thoroughly before use.
- Apply the descaler evenly using a brush, roller, or chemical-resistant sprayer. Ensure complete coverage of all areas with visible mill scale.
- Recommended dosage is approximately 125 ml per square meter, depending on the thickness and hardness of the mill scale.
- Coverage is up to 8 m² per liter per coat.
- Allow the product to act for 20 to 45 minutes. Reaction time may vary depending on temperature and mill scale thickness.
- Observe the surface as the mill scale begins to loosen and detach.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove dissolved residues and detached scale. For stubborn areas, light brushing may be necessary before rinsing.
- Allow the steel to dry completely before applying the degreaser if needed, followed by the rust accelerator. The surface must be clean, dry, and free from residues prior to rust activation.
